KASHMAKASH MEANS

 

KASHMAKASH is a Persian word meaning dilemma. conflict, struggle, wrestle, skirmish. The exact feeling we who are living with or recovering from domestic abuse feel. Each of these at different times. 
Sometimes one other times then other. We struggle with questions, we wrestle with our thoughts ,we feel confused and conflicted because everyday is not abusive.  And so we tell ourselves stories to help us cope.
Are we imagining this? Did we misunderstand? Are we exaggerating it? Did it actually happen? Can it have been something that happens once in a while? Can I live like this? Or even why can't I live with this? What's wrong with me?  What have I done to deserve this?

These are very real, very important questions and deserve honest answers.
This constant confusion is what KASHMAKASH means.
